Urchin will end their sales by March 2012

It has been an amazing start of the year 2012 with new things emerging in the web industry and others disappearing. Today I learned that Urchin will be discontinue their sales by March of 2012, now Google is encouraging people to register in Google analytics. Urchin has been used as the Google analytics tracking code for many years, finding this out makes me happy to hear that new things are coming, read the full story here: Urchin Story

Google+

just released their beta test today. I am now using it and so far it is working great, easy to use. It has a great concept for separating the people you know, they call it "circles" as circle of friends. Apple iOS Development

yes, today I signed up to become part of the iOS Development team at apple.com. I'm so happy I finally have access to the great iPhone SDK, ready to rearn how to communicate between JavaScript and Objective-C code. as well as learning how to optimize web content for native iPhone applications and see how to leverage the latest web standards such as CSS 3 and HTML 5.

Running

yes, I've started running long distances again. I completed my first 1/2 marathon at a surprising 2:03.43, yes it was a good surprise when I found out that I ran at 9 minutes per mile and under 10 minutes. I finished strong and feeling good. I plan on running the Texas marathon this coming April 10th, I might do the whole or just the half. we will see how I do in my practice runs. I am accepting sponsorships to keep me running as this sport can get a bit expensive. call me at 214.353.0264 if you want to be a part of my experience!
